WCK was founded by Chef José Andres in 2010 and has provided over 300 million fresh meals in frontline communities of the climate crisis.
On October 28th, Acapulco, Mexico was hit by a record-breaking Category 5 hurricane that has left a tragic path of loss in its wake. Residents were left with little time to prepare as it quickly intensified closer to landfall. With the heavy rains continuing in the mountainous regions of Mexico, flash floods are expected to cause greater damages and make relief efforts even more challenging.
